Setup The first setup requires 2 IR sensors to be connected to the PC, but after that you can disconnect one sensor (if needed) and play with one sensor only. We recommend that you keep the sensore nearby (in the base of the simulator, for example). The typical placement of the sensors in our simulators may make the setup a bit harder because they normally should have more space between them (1m and more). You can hold one of the sensors by the side of the TV, do the setup and disconnect it. Or, you can place it into the default place nearby the first sensor. Important: keep the touch conrtrollers (both!) nearby with fresh spare batteries. You may need them for the setup. You don’t need touch controllers for playing the xtrematic simulators. Games are chosen by Left or Right buttons on the tower (Middle - start / stop) and the control (in controllable rides) itself is performed by moving your head.
Troubleshooting
Rift S Has a higher resolution, but the tracking is done by the built-in cameras that track the environment. Potential problems and solutions: May have the same cable problem as the CV-1. Tracking is the weak point of this model especially if you use it intensively. Avoid using the unit in the low light space. Make sure the floor is not black or dark. Otherwise, the cameras will soon lose the depth of vision and will require re-assigning the floor level. This is easy, but it’s a headache that you don’t want to have. If you are still using it, make sure the lighting is good around the simulator. Important: keep the touch conrtrollers (both!) nearby with fresh spare batteries. You may need them for the setup. Quest 2 / 3 Despite of being compatible and a good image quality, this headset is not the perfect option for the intense daily use. Why? Because their design is aimed at portability (weak head straps, the USB port is not designed to work with a thick and reliable cable - it’s weak). However, you can upgrade the glasses by purchasing additional strap kits like Bobo VR (not an ad) and cable hooks (plastic or rubber) that can be attached by a glue and will prevent the USB port from damaging when a player tightens the cable accidentally.
